Un modèle d’affaires désigne la façon dont une entreprise est censée réaliser des bénéfices.
L’objectif de cet article est de faire une étude comparative des modèles d’affaires des compagnies comme Google, Facebook, Twitter et Apple.
Apple et Google sont extrêmement dépendantes de leur produit phare respectifs, le iPhone pour Apple et le moteur de recherche pour Google. La différence majeur entre les deux entreprises est qu’Apple est leader dans la vente de ses produits matériel en plus des logiciels alors que Google n’a toujours pas réussi à percer dans le domaine du matériel. Google tente de changer son modèle d’affaire en le basant d’avantage sur les abonnements à ses services numérique et la vente de ses propres produit.
L’une des clés d’une publicité efficace, c’est la qualité et la pertinence de son ciblage. Lorsqu’on communique auprès de personnes qui n’ont aucun intérêt pour votre secteur d’activité ou vos produits risque d’être contre-productif. Il s’agit donc d’un point important à examiner. Le ciblage est un point important à évaluer lors de cette comparaison. Facebook et Twitter ont des modèles d’affaires similaires, tous deux créent des revenus grâce à l’utilisation des données de ses utilisateurs et par la publicité ciblé. Google ayant une audience plus élevé avec 1.2 trillions de recherches par année, c’est la raison pour laquelle elle est à la tête du marché.
Le ciblage des campagnes Google AdWords est basé sur les mots-clés. Le principe est simple, on choisit des termes de recherche pour lesquels nous voulons que notre annonce s’affiche dans les résultats de recherche des internautes. En choisissant bien nos mots-clés, on peut donc communiquer auprès de personnes cherchant précisément notre produit ou service, ce qui en fait des prospects très intéressants. On peut affiner votre ciblage avec des données démographiques(âge, sexe) et des données géographiques( pays, région, ville).
Facebook a une approche différente, puisqu’il nous permet de cibler des profils-types d’utilisateurs qui correspondent à notre clientèle idéale. En exploitant les données des personnes inscrites sur son réseau social, Facebook est capable de les segmenter en fonction des centres d’intérêts,des caractéristiques socio-démographiques (âge, sexe, travail, etc.), des zones géographiques,du comportement et des similarité avec vos propres fans Facebook ou vos clients.
Ces quatres grandes compagnies, quoi qu’elles règnent toutes dans le domaine de l’informatique et des technologies, ont des modèles d’affaires bien différents. Elles ont tous pu trouver leur “niche” qui les a rendu si puissantes et cherchent par tous les moyens de se diversifier et d’innover afin de rester au sommet.
La croissance d’une entreprise est basée sur l’innovation et la mise en place des stratégies d’affaires perpétuellement.
